Entering the "town" of Kakuma which built up largely after the arrival of the refugees

 
"We finally reached Kakuma and the immediate environment had changed somewhat from dry scrub and small bushes to a more dusty open area...The accommodations are buildings with dorm style interiors---open room with a bed and table as well as a small bathroom. The most obvious feature of the room that makes it different from back home is of course the big mosquito net over the bed.  And then there is the panic button on the wall...."
