The Somali Bantu council of Elders

"We had a really intimidating meeting with the Somali Bantu elders.  I felt like some dignitary being escorted to meet with the leaders of a nation...The elders made long, eloquent introductions in which they thanked us for coming, noted the boost in morale our presence made, praised the work and help already performed by the US, and then asked a question---one which inevitably revolved around the hardships of the Bantu community in Kakuma and their desire to see the process of resettlement speeded up. "
