"After a lot of time in the dirt and hot sun, it was good (and necessary) to return to the IOM compound and sit in the shade. We got back just at closing time when everyone was caravanning back to the accommodations camp. By the time evening rolled around it was quite pleasant to sit outside at the thatch roofed bar chatting with some of the personnel and washing down a dusty throat with a cold Tusker." |
