While visiting Nice, my friends and I were also able to take a day trip to the nearby principality of Monaco. This small but independent state is known for glitz and glamour and the world-famous casino at Monte-Carlo area. It too is right on the incredibly blue Meditteranean Sea and was an interesting chance to see how the incredibly wealthy live! (1996) |
| Monaco's palace at the changing of the guard. Not surprisingly, lots of yachts wait in the harbor at Monaco. Probably the world's most renowned casino is here in Monte Carlo.
