Other Mississippi areas

Map on/off

Hattiesburg-----Located in the "Pine Belt" of south Mississippi, Hattiesburg is home of the University of Southern Mississippi where I spent four years of college. (1997)

Jackson-----The capital city of Mississippi.

Biloxi-----Part of the stretch of beach on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Biloxi reflects both the modern aspects of the state (casinos) and the old (historic homes). (1998)

Magee-----Though growing on its outskirts, my grandparents' home of Magee still has that small town character with an old downtown and close neighbors. (2005)

Hattiesburg: This is the administration building which sits at the front of the USM campus and has become a symbol of the whole university. Hattiesburg: Here's our international students group enjoying a day out at Paul B. Johnson state park. This is just to show that the "hot and muggy" summers of Mississippi can actually be nice! Jackson: Here is the state capitol building in the middle of the city. Biloxi: Beauvoir, the home of Jefferson Davis who served as president of the Confederacy, prior to damage by Hurricane Katrina. Biloxi: Looking towards the Biloxi beach on the Mississippi Gulf Coast from the Jefferson Davis house. Magee: A shot of a typical small town Mississippi downtown corner.
