While studying in France, I had the chance to travel to Prague to meet some friends without knowing anything about the city at all. Once I got there I was really impressed. The architecture is amazing and the history very rich. Even if you’ve never heard of Charles Bridge, Wenceslas Square, and St. Vita Cathedral, you should definitely see them if you get the chance. (1996)

In the middle of the city, right at the head of Wenceslas Square, sits the National Museum and a statue of Wenceslas himself. An overview of Prague reveals a sea of red rooves nestled in the hills near the Vltava River. The old town square holds a statue of Jan Hus and Tyn Church in the background. Definitely one of the most interesting clocks I've seen, the Astronomical Clock has moving parts and characters on the hour. The Charles Bridge (Karluv Most) filled with statues, artists, and lots and lots of tourists.
