I followed the show closely to its end in May 2002 and have some very dear memories of gathering with a group of friends at a local restaurant weekly to watch it during the height of its popularity in the fifth and sixth seasons. Since it was arguably one of the first truly net-interactive programs on television (a lot has been said of how comments and reactions in the early days of the internet guided aspects of the show&#8212;common now but rather revolutionary then), I have always had at least a little area of my website dedicated to the X-Files. The return of the show in 2016-18 spurred me to revisit my old &#8217;90s webpage&#8217; and revamp it a bit. Here you&#8217;ll find some musings on the arc of the show, important characters, and some personal reflections on why I enjoy it so much.
